About Suncrest Homes

We Build Green

Building Our Legacy

Our Story

Local to the Rogue Valley: We are homebuilders who know the area, the people, the economy, the resources and the real estate market.

Experienced: We’ve been designing and building custom homes for 30+ years with 400 local custom home success stories and counting. Word-of-mouth referrals – from both clients and real estate agents – account for 90 percent of our business. That says a lot, and to us, means a lot. We work for you, the customer, from start to finish. Our passion is your quality experience.

Reputable: Our rock-solid reputation, smart planning and a viable long-term vision of building quality custom homes in the Rogue Valley established Suncrest Homes as a leader and innovator.

Here to Stay: Suncrest Homes has survived and thrived during the economic downturns. We consistently focus on your quality experience, and our success reflects our values and strong business model. Building homes is not just a job – it’s our life. Our commitment to quality and longevity ensures our future, and builds a stronger, healthier community.

The Suncrest Experience in Action

Like Suncrest Homes, our subcontractors are here for the long term. Our working relationships average 15 years, and some have been for 30. We know who will install your cabinets. We know who will lay your flooring. We know where your light fixtures will come from. Our quality relationships bring responsibility and ownership on the part of each person building your custom home. Our subcontractors share the goal of delivering your quality custom home with a hassle-free experience. Each custom home is as exciting to us as it is to our clients and built with the same quality and attention to detail we put into our own homes.

Who We Are

Charlie Hamilton

Charlie will greet you with an energetic handshake and tons of enthusiasm for your project. After having designed and built 400+ homes in the valley, over the last 30 years, Charlie still loves his job!  He and his wife, Mary, have lived in the Rogue Valley since 1989 and raised two kids  here, Max and Kasey (more on Kasey soon). In his spare time, Charlie loves to spend quality time with his family—skiing, boating, hiking and flying airplanes. You might also find Charlie on the tennis court with his wife and now  the pickleball court as well. One of Charlie & Mary’s passions is traveling. Charlie earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business from UCLA and a master’s in clinical psychology from Cal State-Fullerton.

Kasey Hamilton

After growing up surrounded by the construction industry for most of her life. Kasey has decided to join the family business. She has spent the last 8 years down in the Los Angeles area completing her degree at California Lutheran University and working in advertising for 4 years after that. While the hustle and bustle of advertising was fun, she is excited to get her hands dirty in the custom home industry, and ecstatic to return home to the Rogue Valley. In her free time she enjoys golfing, hiking, tennis and just about all other outdoor activities. You’ll be sure to catch her on the slopes of Mt. Ashland in the Winter.

Ashley Haze

Ashley, our Designer, is a Southern Oregon Native with a passion for making home beautiful. She’s been rearranging furniture and hanging artwork in other peoples homes since she was a teenager. In 2015, she left her career in the medical field to design houses full-time.

Ashley lives in Talent with her husband, daughter and 3 dogs. She’s a self proclaimed “fair weather outdoorsy type” who enjoys wine, concerts, road trips and spending time with family and friends.

Heidi Dobbins

Heidi, our superintendent, has spent her entire life in construction. As a young kid, during the summers, grandpa would have Heidi on the jobsite spaying the concrete and keeping people from stepping in the freshly poured concrete. Other days it was sweeping out the houses, payment was a big Mac, fires and a shake. Construction runs in her family, after grandpa she began working with her brother Mike doing everything from pouring foundations and framing houses, to equipment operating and finish carpentry. Suncrest has been lucky enough to have had Heidi for over 8 years. She is the first one on the job site usually before the sun comes up and the last to leave to make sure everything is locked up. Heidi has one son who is the center of her life. They love horseback riding, hiking, fishing and riding motorcycles. Basically anything that gets them outside makes them happy.

Suncrest Homes

At Suncrest Homes, our passion is quality—from the relationships we develop to the custom homes we build in the communities of Southern Oregon, including Ashland, Medford, Talent, Jacksonville, and Phoenix.
